The VW Vintage Meeting Morat/Murten 2026 was simply incredible.
- What a collection of cars…
- What a fantastic crowd…
- What a beautiful atmosphere by the lake!
But beyond the incredible cars, it was you, the participants, who made the weekend so special.
The smiles, the conversations, the stories behind the cars, the old friends meeting again, the new friendships being made, the passion shared everywhere throughout the weekend… This is what made these two days so special.
Seeing so many incredible vintage Volkswagens gathered in Morat/Murten was something truly unique. But seeing the people behind them enjoying the weekend together made it unforgettable.

100% Aircooled Classic VW Show
With up to 120 vehicles registered from all over Europe, the previous Vintage VW Meetings in Murten were a huge success.
The International Vintage VW Meeting in Murten is a travel through time thanks to the wealth of vehicles presented and its unique atmosphere.
Organized by historic enthusiasts for historic enthusiasts, this event will feature original, un-modified, or period-correct Volkswagens:
Volkswagen Beetle, KdF-Wagen, Type 82, Type 166, etc. up to 1957
Special bodies on VW chassis up to 1967
Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 14 and Type 34 up to 1967
Volkswagen Type 2 (Bus / Transporter etc.) up to 1967
This is not a concourse event, and all vintage Volkswagens are welcome from concourse to daily driver condition.
If your Air-cooled Volkswagen does not meet the criteria of the vintage display, don’t worry!
Please still bring it as there will be a dedicated parking area for Volkswagens right next to the show with a nominal parking fee payable on the day.

VW-Uraltkäferclub Schweiz is a Swiss club dedicated to preserving and promoting early Volkswagen Beetles and VW models built up to 1957, including the iconic Split Window and Oval Beetles.
Founded in 1977, the club brings together classic VW enthusiasts from across Switzerland and neighboring countries.
Through meetings, scenic drives and heritage events, the club helps keep the spirit of historic Volkswagen vehicles alive on the road.
